2. How have you or people close to you experienced suffering and pain in life? In what ways was it handled well or not so well?
3. How have you observed God producing perseverance and character and hope in your life through suffering? If not, why not? Explain.
4. How do the truths of v. 1 -2 help us to have God’s perspective on suffering? Why is it important to understand the truths of the Gospel to understand our suffering? How can these truths bring comfort?
