Reflection Questions:
1. In Joshua 1:1-9, God gives Joshua a great command. After reading verses 1-2, discuss the emotions and thoughts that Joshua might have experienced at that moment.
2. Joshua faced a pivotal moment in his life where he could understandably be "afraid and discouraged" (Joshua 1:9). Describe a pivotal moment when you experienced something similar.
3. After reading Joshua 1:3-9, discuss how God strengthened and encouraged Joshua. Also, reflect on how God strengthens and encourages you today.
4. Journey Church's mission statement is: "Together, we're leading people to become all in followers of Jesus." Would you describe yourself as an "all in follower of Jesus"?
