[00:00:01] Yep.
[00:00:05] God's done a lot of cool things in 20 years.
[00:00:10] The team has asked me to talk about the next 20 years.
[00:00:16] And originally when I was given that assignment, my heart just went to, like, visionary leadership. What are we going to do? You know, what are our projects, our plans, our programs, our progress? What are the hills that we're going to take? How are we going to change the world?
[00:00:32] We can do a lot.
[00:00:34] We've got a lot of people around here that love God.
[00:00:38] Very smart, very hardworking.
[00:00:41] But the more that I wrestled and allowed the Holy Spirit to speak to my heart, he just took my heart and my mind into a very different direction, into a deeper desire for who I want Journey Church to be.
[00:00:54] We can do a lot of things, but I'm convinced that Jesus cares more about the kind of people that we become.
[00:01:04] And I'm absolutely convinced if we become the kinds of people that Jesus wants us to be, we will absolutely do the things that Jesus wants us to do.
[00:01:17] So I'm going to acknowledge that I totally ripped off.
[00:01:21] This isn't Bob's vision for the future. This is the vision of Jesus for his church.
[00:01:30] This is his prayer for the church.
[00:01:33] What I'm going to ask us to do is that we would just humble ourselves before him and listen to his heartbeat for this church, for all churches. This is at the very end of the life of Jesus. And when you're at the end of your life, your words matter more.
[00:01:53] You say the things that are most important.
[00:01:55] This is what Jesus prayed for us on the night before he was killed. John, chapter 17. Starting in verse 20, this is what Jesus prayed.
[00:02:06] He says, my prayer is not for them alone.
[00:02:09] And the them there is his disciples, his closest disciples. He's just gotten done praying for them. But he says, my prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message.
[00:02:26] Who's that?
[00:02:28] That's us.
[00:02:29] That's anybody that has put their faith and their trust in Jesus Christ, anyone that has bowed their knee to him. He is praying for you. Specifically, he has you in mind when he's praying this, that all of them may be one Father.
[00:02:48] That's what he wants. He wants all of his kids to be one.
[00:02:54] Just as you are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us so that meaning this is the result.
[00:03:04] If and when that happens, here's what's going to happen in the world. The world may believe that you have sent me.
[00:03:11] It's going to change the world.
[00:03:14] It's going to reveal to the world that Jesus was who he claimed to be.
[00:03:19] Verse 22. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one.
[00:03:27] I in them and you in me.
[00:03:31] And he says it again so that.
[00:03:34] So that they may be brought to complete unity.
[00:03:39] And here's the result. Here's what happens then.
[00:03:42] Then the world will know that you have sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.
[00:03:54] Friends, there's lots of things, really important things. I believe that Jesus could have prayed for us, but he prayed that we would be one.
[00:04:05] He could have prayed that we would have courage in our faith, that we would have boldness in our faith, that we would persevere in our faith, that there would be theological and doctrinal purity in our faith. All those things, friends, are important.
[00:04:23] He didn't pray any of them.
[00:04:25] So that if we're gonna change the world, you need to become one.
[00:04:31] That's how the world's gonna know that this message is true, is if his kids are one.
[00:04:40] When we look across the pages of the New Testament, the most common metaphor that's used to describe the children of God is a family.
[00:04:49] It's described as a family.
[00:04:52] And here's what I know from all the things that I read out there, is that you want. That you want a family in this life.
[00:05:00] When we look at the incredible epidemic of loneliness that's out there, especially with young people, they have all these ways, socially, social media, to try to connect with each other. It's not working.
[00:05:13] They're more lonely than ever. We are more lonely than ever.
[00:05:18] What we really long for is a real flesh and blood community.
[00:05:27] We want a family.
[00:05:28] We want what Jesus prayed for.
[00:05:32] But here's my honest question.
[00:05:34] When you think about your connection to the people of God, to the family of God, do you feel united?
[00:05:43] Do you feel a sense of unity that you. That Jesus prayed for? And I'll say it again, the bar that he prayed for is incredibly high. He wanted not just a sense like we kind of like each other. We kind of know each other's names. He wants there to be a oneness like him and the Father eternally, the Father and the Son in relationship and with the Holy Spirit in relationship with one another. That's what he wants us to experience.
[00:06:09] And as we have been walking through the book of Romans, Romans, chapter 8, talking about the Holy Spirit, what we keep saying over and over is the way that he accomplishes that, is that when we bow our knee to him, God's Spirit comes and lives within us, each follower of Jesus as an individual. But that's not it.
[00:06:30] Also, the scriptures tell us that the Holy Spirit indwells the family of God, yes, us as individuals, but he is the one that ties our hearts together in unity. He's the one that makes us a family.
[00:06:48] So here's what that means.
[00:06:50] When God's Spirit is present in a person or in a family of people, there is gonna be a unity in the community.
[00:07:01] Even though there is an incredible diversity in the community, there will always be a, a unity in the community if Jesus, if the Holy Spirit is present in that group of people.
[00:07:14] Jesus modeled this for us when he started his earthly ministry. The very first thing that he did was he built a family.
[00:07:23] He called 12 men to come and follow him, to be his spiritual family on this earth.
[00:07:32] You've got to understand, this was a diverse and divided crew.
[00:07:38] And I want to share just one example of the division in and amongst this people, because I think it matters and is relevant to our culture as well. There was political division in the 12.
[00:07:54] There were two. Two of the 12. One was Matthew, and we know that he was a tax collector.
[00:08:02] And there was another disciple named Simon, not Simon Peter, one that they distinctly call Simon the Zealot.
[00:08:12] Why do they name him as a zealot? Because a tax collector and a zealot would be the two furthest from each other politically.
[00:08:22] Think about how Matthew viewed the government. Like he worked for the Roman Empire.
[00:08:29] Taxing the Jews was how he made his money. He was a big government guy.
[00:08:36] Simon the Zealot, he was a no government guy.
[00:08:42] And he was. He would. The Zealots, they would resort to violence to try to overthrow the Roman Empire. They wanted the Roman Empire gone.
[00:08:52] And so Jesus takes these two people that are politically as far apart as you could even imagine. And what does he do? He says, hey, let's come together, let's sit around the table.
[00:09:08] Was that stupid?
[00:09:11] Was that a mess?
[00:09:14] Yes, yes, that is a mess.
[00:09:18] But it was also his message.
[00:09:22] That was the message of Jesus. When you're on my team, when God's spirit is living in and through you, people that are opposite of each other, diverse in their thoughts and opinions on things, they can actually come together and love one another.
[00:09:42] And that's what we see in the beginning of the book of Acts.
[00:09:45] Acts 1:14 says that they were all together.
[00:09:49] All together. All those men were together and they were constantly in prayer because they were on a team.
[00:09:57] They were joined together as brothers. And what caused them to Be brothers was that for every one of them, Jesus was the king.
[00:10:07] Jesus was the leader of their team.
[00:10:10] That's why, friends, when God's spirit is involved in the life of an individual and in the life of a community, there is unity in the community.
[00:10:21] Even though there is incredible diversity in that group of people.
[00:10:26] It's the gospel.
[00:10:28] It's the transformation of the gospel in our life. The changes people from people that are completely diverse and makes them unified. Here's how the Apostle Paul described it in Galatians, chapter three.
[00:10:43] He says, so in Christ you are all children of God through faith. He's just restating the gospel.
[00:10:51] When we are in Christ by faith, we are all children of God. For all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.
[00:11:05] Isn't that a great picture? You have clothed yourself like the way we might say it is. You put on Team Jesus jersey.
[00:11:14] That's what the world sees when they see you are on Team Jesus.
[00:11:18] Now, there might be other jerseys that you wear underneath that, but Paul is saying that the main jersey that you wear is that you are a follower of Jesus. And when that's the case, when we have this higher calling in our life, it is possible for us to be connected and even united with people that think differently. And that's why Paul continues to talk about the things in his culture that drove people apart. Verse 28, he said, There is neither Jew nor Gentile.
[00:11:50] You can't think of a group of people that were more separated than the Jews and the Gentiles. But Paul is saying the gospel pulls them together.
[00:12:01] There's neither male nor female, neither slave nor free. He pulls them together. Neither male and female, for they are all one in Christ Jesus.
[00:12:13] Paul picks the biggest chasms that existed in his culture and said the Gospel pulls them together. And even though people can think differently about things, different lived experiences, they can actually love one another.
[00:12:30] They can actually be united.
[00:12:33] Doesn't matter their religion, their race, their status, their money, their gender. When the Holy Spirit shows up in his presence and power, there is unity, community.
[00:12:44] Even though there's an incredible diversity, the Bible says that the unity that the Bible describes can exist even though there's a diversity of thought.
[00:13:00] The way that people think about things, their perspective, their background, their status.
[00:13:08] How does that thought land with you?
[00:13:14] That there's even the possibility that you could be united with people that think differently than you do, that have a different perspective than you background or status?
[00:13:24] I mean, is the goal like, should we just try to create a homogenous Group that we all think the exact same way about everything in this life.
[00:13:35] Things about God, things about the Bible, how loud the music should be at Journey.
[00:13:40] Do we all have to think the exact same and can we still love one another or should we just. Should we make more denominations? There's hundreds, even thousands of Christian denominations and sects.
[00:13:53] Should we make more so that we can get together with people that think exactly like us? Do you think that's what Jesus was praying for on the night before he died? I don't think so.
[00:14:04] That's not the picture.
[00:14:06] There's a picture that people that can be very, very diverse could actually come together and love one another.
[00:14:15] I have this picture in my mind. I believe that it was probably about six years ago. We used to do things a little bit differently around here. We used to pass buckets for an offering. And when the host would come out and you were done with worship, one of the first things that we would do is say, before you sit down, say hello to someone around you. That's what we did.
[00:14:39] I came out and did that one day, and it was probably right about there.
[00:14:44] I watched two of my friends reach across the aisle, no pun intended, reach across the aisle.
[00:14:53] And there was just incredible warmth in how they greeted one another.
[00:14:59] And because these were two close friends of mine, people that I knew well, I knew their politics.
[00:15:07] I'll tell you what.
[00:15:09] The person over here is probably about the furthest left person that I know. And the person on the other side was probably the furthest right person that I know.
[00:15:19] And they met there. And I just. That picture is emblazed in my mind.
[00:15:24] Because here's what I wonder.
[00:15:27] Is that what Jesus prayed for?
[00:15:30] I think it is.
[00:15:32] But here's the thing.
[00:15:33] They didn't know each other's politics, but if they did and they had a conversation about it, would they. Could they go to a place where they actually still look. Love one another even though they disagree on their politics? Is that possible?
[00:15:52] I believe that's what Jesus was praying for. That that would be the kind of unity that we would see, that we in the church, friends, that we would courageously, courageously think about. How do we build bridges? How do we overcome. How do we overcome the divisions that are in the world rather than reflect the divisions that are in the world, rather than reinforce the divisions that are in this world? I think Jesus said there's a different way.
[00:16:25] And when God's spirit is present and at work powerfully in the lives of people, there is a unity in the community that we can't explain.
[00:16:37] It's even when there's incredible diversity.
[00:16:46] But what does the world see when they look at the church?
[00:16:51] Is that what they see?
[00:16:53] Oh, I wish it was.
[00:16:56] There's a lot of anger.
[00:16:58] There's a lot of animosity, dissension, discord.
[00:17:02] And when I have these conversations with people, they'll throw out verses like John 15:18 that says, if the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. That's the words of Jesus. But here's what I always ask.
[00:17:16] Why did they hate Jesus?
[00:17:19] Did they hate Jesus because of how he loved people?
[00:17:23] No, they hated Jesus because of who he loved, that he was willing to break down barriers.
[00:17:32] And you wanted to see Jesus get angry. Who did Jesus get angry at?
[00:17:38] Religious people.
[00:17:40] Religious people that were making it difficult for people that were far from God to have a clear picture of who God really was and what he was like. That's what made Jesus mad. Those were the people that killed him.
[00:17:55] It wasn't his method, it was his message. He. His message of love.
[00:18:01] That's what got Jesus killed.
[00:18:09] Here's the question.
[00:18:12] How do we get there?
[00:18:15] If we really believe that this is what Jesus wants, How do we. How do we even get there? I want. I want to restate what Jesus said. This is earlier in the book of John, because it wasn't in the context of a prayer. It was in the context of a command.
[00:18:34] This is the command of our Savior, the command of our King. This is what he says in John 13. He says, A new command.
[00:18:44] I give you.
[00:18:46] Love one another as.
[00:18:51] As I have loved you.
[00:18:53] Meaning just as.
[00:18:55] In the same way, to the same extent, just as I have loved you, so you must love one another by this. Here it is again. By this. Everyone will know that you are my disciples.
[00:19:13] If you love one another.
[00:19:16] What is the distinguishing mark of a follower of Jesus?
[00:19:21] That the Spirit lives in them and that the Spirit pours out his fruit in their life of love and joy and peace and patience and kindness and gentleness and goodness and faithfulness and self control. That's the mark of a believer. And if people hate you for that, then so be it. That's why they hated Jesus.
[00:19:45] But let's make sure that they're hating us for the wrong reason.
[00:19:50] Right reason.
[00:19:53] And what was Jesus love like?
[00:19:57] How did he love? If we're to do it in that way, what was his love like? He loved completely.
[00:20:03] He loved unconditionally. He loved sacrificially, and he loved eternally.
[00:20:10] And he loved those that thought Differently than him.
[00:20:15] Like us.
[00:20:16] He loved those that behaved differently than him.
[00:20:20] Like us.
[00:20:23] And here's the question, this is my honest question that I've been asking myself.
[00:20:28] Can we actually hope that we could see this happen?
[00:20:34] Family of God?
[00:20:35] Or is what Jesus prayed for, is it just crazy talk?
[00:20:40] I mean, does God really expect us to love one another the way that Jesus loved us?
[00:20:48] I mean, that's people that we don't even know that well.
[00:20:52] And that's people that maybe we wouldn't even choose to be their friends, but Jesus had loved them the way that I have loved you.
[00:21:03] I'll tell you this, like, trying to reflect on what Jesus prayed for.
[00:21:07] There's part of me that just says, okay, Jesus, I believe, I think, but help me with my unbelief.
[00:21:16] I don't know.
[00:21:17] I don't know if I believe that this can happen.
[00:21:20] You know why?
[00:21:22] Because what Jesus prayed for is so unnatural, it doesn't come natural to us. Our flesh wants to be the center of the universe. And last week I talked about the things, the fruit of our flesh, that there's anger and discord, dissensions, factions. That's what comes naturally to us. But friends, that's the point.
[00:21:47] What Jesus is talking about here is not natural.
[00:21:52] It is supernatural. And it will only happen when God's spirit has full control over the heart and the life of a person.
[00:22:03] And that there is love and joy and peace and patience, the fruit of the spirit pouring out of their life. It's the only way that it's going to happen. It's not natural.
[00:22:13] And that's the point. And that's why Jesus said it's going to change the world.
[00:22:18] Because when that starts happening in and around the world, can't explain that. They can explain anger, they can explain hatred.
[00:22:27] Everybody can do that.
[00:22:29] But supernatural love, only the spirit can accomplish that. And that's why, friends, it's when the Holy Spirit is present and in his power, working in an individual, in the life of a community, that there would be unity in the community, even though there's incredible diversity.
[00:22:48] Sometimes when I have these conversations with people, there's kind of this eye roll that people give me. It's kind of like, Bob, here you go again. You're just, love, love, love, Bob. Love that is weak, that is soft, that is passive. There's no time for that now. It's time to kick butt and take names, whatever that means, actually.
[00:23:18] But here's what I would say.
[00:23:21] If we say that about the love of Jesus that he modeled for us, that it's soft, that it's weak, that it's passive.
[00:23:33] I would challenge.
[00:23:35] You don't know the love you may not have ever experienced. The love of Jesus, the spirit of God may not be indwelling in your life.
[00:23:47] What would you do? What would you say to Jesus when you look at where love took him in his life when he was in the garden praying to the Father, Father, is there another way? Would you take this cup from me? He knew.
[00:24:03] He knew he was gonna bear the wrath of God for the sins of the world.
[00:24:08] He knew that, but he was willing to do it. Are you gonna look at him and just say, so weak.
[00:24:16] You are so weak. When you think about Jesus hanging, humiliated and naked on a cross. And as Isaiah said, Isaiah said, like a lamb before its shearers is silent. And he was quiet. Are you gonna just be like, you're so soft?
[00:24:33] Jesus, he did shout out to the Father, but what did he shout out to his enemies that were there taking his life? He said, father, forgive them, they don't even know what they're doing.
[00:24:51] So passive.
[00:24:53] Friends, we can't look at the love of Jesus and say that it is weak and soft and passive. But because if we say that, we don't understand what Jesus accomplished for us.
[00:25:05] That love for enemies is the reason that we can be here today, that we can stand before God justified. I am so grateful that that weak, soft, passive love was extended to me because I too was an enemy of Jesus and so were you.
[00:25:27] That's what secures our salvation for us, is God's love for us.
[00:25:35] But you think it's unnatural, it's supernatural, it is of God.
[00:25:43] But here's friends, how I believe that Jesus was able to do that, that he was able to love his enemy and we can love our enemy when you remember that your enemy is not your enemy.
[00:25:59] Jesus understood who the real enemy was. He understood the evil that he came to take care of, but he was taking care of evil by taking it all upon himself in our place. That's how he dealt with evil.
[00:26:16] He took evil.
[00:26:19] He took the payment for evil so that he wouldn't have to destroy us who were evil. You should thank God every day for that weak, soft, passive love of Jesus. And here's how the apostle Paul explained it about who our real enemy is. In Ephesians 6:12, it says, for our struggle, meaning our battle, our kick butt, take names moment. The this is what our struggle is against. It's not against flesh and blood.
[00:26:49] What's he saying?
[00:26:51] It's not People.
[00:26:54] If you think about who the enemy of the church is, who the enemy of God is, if a face comes to your mind, you've missed it.
[00:27:02] Paul says, our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world, and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
[00:27:16] That's your enemy, a real enemy. He is the source of evil.
[00:27:22] So if you stand back and you think that the enemy of the gospel is a person, you don't understand the gospel people are never the enemy of the gospel. People, my friends, are the audience for. For the gospel.
[00:27:42] And that's what Paul knew. Paul knew what it was like to be the actual enemy of Jesus, just like us.
[00:27:50] He heard the voice of Jesus say, saul, Saul, why are you persecuting me?
[00:27:58] He knew what it was like to be an enemy, but he also knew what it was like to experience the grace of God. People are never gospel. They're the audience for the gospel. They're the people that Jesus came to save in church. It's the people that he's asked us to reach.
[00:28:21] People that think differently, behave differently, have different views of culture, different view of politics. Those are the people that we came to reach.
[00:28:33] I wanna get practical for a minute. I wanna just give you several things. Like if there's something in you that might be convinced that you wanna be an answer to Jesus prayer, that you wanna step forward and say, I wanna be united. I wanna love one another. I wanna love people the way that Jesus loved. Here's some things, and I'm gonna start the bar relatively low.
[00:28:58] The first thing I would say is, I shouldn't say that this is low because it's actually really important, is that we would pray like Jesus.
[00:29:07] If we believe that Jesus prayer can be answered, we should be praying in the same way that his vision for the church would be our vision for our church, our vision for our own life.
[00:29:21] How might that look when you show up on a Sunday?
[00:29:25] It might look different than you might. Might come in most days just thinking, man, I hope I get something out of this.
[00:29:31] Maybe what Jesus would want you to show up and say, I want to love somebody today.
[00:29:36] Jesus, you want me to be united with the people around me. I want to look for somebody to love. I want to look for somebody to care about, somebody to serve.
[00:29:45] That would be one thing that we could do.
[00:29:48] Secondly, I would challenge you leave here on a regular basis without just connecting with someone, even if it's just saying, hello, it's good to see you. I'M glad that you were here. Now, if you've been around here, you know that at the end of this gathering, we're gonna say, don't rush off.
[00:30:10] Say hello to somebody.
[00:30:13] We mean it. That's a way that we can tangibly show love to another person. And now some of you are like, oh, man, he's shaming me. I was gonna get out of here before the first, last song.
[00:30:24] No, get to know someone, say hello.
[00:30:30] Another thing.
[00:30:31] Is there someone, a brother or sister in Christ that you know that you've got something against them?
[00:30:40] You're holding something. You know that they've got something against you?
[00:30:43] Because Jesus very early on in his ministry, in the Sermon on the Mount, he said, if you come to the altar to offer a gift to. To me, to worship me, and you realize that there's somebody out there that you've got an issue with or has an issue with you, what does he say to do? He's like, drop your gift. Go and be reconciled to them, get it right with them, and then come back and offer your gift to me. What is he trying to communicate? He's trying to communicate the reality that if you're. If you think that you're square with me when. When you're not square with people, we're not square.
[00:31:22] Get that taken care of first and then come and worship me. Our relationships matter because Jesus, he prayed it and he means it. Our mission to this world depends on us loving the way that Jesus loved.
[00:31:38] If you want to raise the bar even a little bit more, get connected around here in a journey community, a small group, a serving team, do something that would actually get you into the lives of people beyond just maybe knowing their name, but somewhere where you know their hurts and their pains and their needs, where you can step in and love and care for another person. That's what it means to have that sense of unity in the community. You may not think in every way like they do. You may not behave in every way like they do. It doesn't matter. Jesus says, love them. Get involved in the lives of people.
[00:32:15] And for some of you, your next step would be to lead a group like that, to actually think about, what can I do to start a spiritual family like that where we can love one another? What we need around here, with the numbers of people that we need so many shepherds that are willing to.
[00:32:35] To sacrifice their life and their time to be able to create those communities of unity, we need people to do that.
[00:32:44] And lastly, this is gonna be the most challenging, I think, for Many people is, I wanna challenge you to think about connecting with humility and curiosity toward people that you know are different than you, that, you know, maybe think differently than you, have a different view of God or the Bible or themselves or the culture or politics.
[00:33:12] Reach out to them with humility and curiosity.
[00:33:16] Here's how I've been thinking about this over the last couple of weeks. One of my favorite professors in seminary, he was a brilliant theologian. I mean, he just knows so much.
[00:33:29] I just loved getting to hear him teach. There was something that he said early on in my time in seminary that kind of shook me a little bit. He said, I am convinced that at least.
[00:33:41] At least 10% of what I believe to be true about God is absolutely wrong.
[00:33:51] He said, I just don't know what 10% it is, but here's what that did. It made him incredibly humble. Like, I may not have all the answers. There's possibilities of people that might have truth and understanding about God that is different than mine. And it gave him curiosity to learn and to grow. And he.
[00:34:12] He put that into his students, that we were hungry and humble and curious to learn. I would listen to him talk about the different positions that people would have on different theological issues. And every time he would describe one, I would think, well, that's obviously the right one. And then he would talk about something else and like, well, that sounds like it's the right one. Why was he able to do that? Because he actually listened to people that thought differently than him and he was able to articulate their opinions.
[00:34:40] But he wanted us to think and to be humble and curious as well.
[00:34:47] Can we do that in relationships?
[00:34:50] Can we do that in the body? Now, I don't want you to hear this. I don't want you to hear me saying that. Oh, that just means that there's no absolute truth. No, there is absolute capital T, truth as God sees it. But here's what I'm saying. Could we be humble enough to think that maybe that capital T, truth I might be missing, I might be wrong on some things. That's what gives us humility and curiosity. And that's what builds bridges to people that maybe think very, very differently than us.
[00:35:29] When I think about what I would want our church to be like in the next 20 years, Lord willing, if I'm even around in 20 years, I would love to be able to look back and just say, I cannot believe that the church, Journey Church, and the church in America was ever that divided.
[00:35:50] How could that have ever been?
[00:35:53] Look at where we're at. Now look at people loving one another the way that Jesus loved us.
[00:36:00] That's the vision that Jesus has for our church and the church in the world.
[00:36:07] I want to close with this. These are the words of the Apostle Paul to the church in Ephesus, Chapter four.
[00:36:13] I want to read it almost like a prayer over us.
[00:36:17] Paul said this as a prisoner for the Lord. Then I urge you to live a life worthy. Live a life that's worthy of the calling that you have received.
[00:36:29] He says, be completely humble, gentle, be patient bearing with one another in love.
[00:36:42] And then he says, make every effort, meaning work hard at it.
[00:36:49] Make this your goal. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
[00:36:57] There is one body and one Spirit.
[00:37:02] Just as you were called to one hope when you were called one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all, one.
[00:37:19] It's one.
[00:37:21] And when God's Spirit is present and when God's spirit is moving in power, there is a unity in the community that the world can't explain.
[00:37:34] Even though there's so many reasons that we're a diverse group of people.
